Singer songwriter Diana Rouvas is a breath of fresh air in the world of electronic beeps and production overkill.
Sydney based Diana has blown away audiences and judges alike in the 2019 series of The Voice, landing her in the Grand Final. Her fan favourite performances have seen her taking on songs from icons such as Leon Russell/ Donny Hathaway, Mariah Carey and more, showcasing her unique and vast vocal range.
Diana’s bombastic lead single ‘Wait For No One’ set for release in September 2019, is a slamming pop/soul/rock song with a throw-back nod to the earthier songs of yesteryear, some may even say reminiscent of Lenny Kravitz with its big room drum sound and bass runs that compliment Diana’s vocal prowess. The forthcoming album is a mix of funk, soul, heartfelt ballads and pop, all with an extra edge. “My songs are always truthful, I wouldn’t sing something I didn’t believe in, so when I perform I want the audience to really connect with an emotion” says Diana.
Diana has the powerhouse vocals and range akin to the likes of Mariah Carey and the soulfulness of Aretha Franklin, with her own personal style. Whether it be soul, ballads, blues, funk or pop, Diana is one of Australia’s premiere vocalists.
Performing live with her band, sit back and buckle up for an amazing show.
