Woodstock 57th Anniversary: Celebrating the Music and Moments That Defined a Generation! Why do we continue to celebrate a music festival that happened over 50 years ago? At the Woodstock Music and Arts Fair, 500,000 people gathered — and the world listened — as a generation found its identity and values through Peace, Love, and Rock ’n’ Roll.
Set against the backdrop of the anti-Vietnam War movement, the peace movement, student activism, and the rise of the Black Panther Party, conservative America had seemingly declared war on its own youth. As Damien Lovelock put it: “That’s why, 50 years later, the Woodstock Festival remains the defining moment for a generation trying to find a better way.”
Access All Eras is celebrating this milestone with Woodstock ’26, a tribute show featuring some of Sydney’s finest musicians and vocalists. This celebration captures the spirit of the 1960s — a time of anti-establishment rebellion, anti-war protests, and passionate peace campaigns. Relive the raw emotion and free-spirited energy in legendary songs by artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Jefferson Airplane, Canned Heat, The Band, Joe Cocker, and more.
Bringing the spirit of Woodstock to life is an all-star lineup of some of Sydney’s most electrifying and accomplished musicians. Each artist brings their own fire and soul to the stage, faithfully capturing the raw power and emotion of the era's most iconic performers:
Rohan Cannon – Vocals / Guitar
A powerhouse guitarist and vocalist with a long history on the Australian rock scene, Rohan brings grit and intensity to the stage, channeling the likes of Hendrix and Santana with passion and precision.
Rebecca Henry – Vocals
With a voice that can shift from soulful to soaring in an instant, Rebecca delivers stunning interpretations of Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, and more — equal parts power, heartbreak, and freedom.
Jesse Redwing – Vocals / Guitar
Bluesman Jesse Redwing brings authentic tone and swagger to every note. His raw, expressive guitar work and smoky vocals perfectly evoke the spirit of the late ’60s rock revolution.
Emile Nelson – Bass
Holding down the groove with deep pocket and feel, Emile lays the foundation for the band with warmth and authority, keeping the rhythm section locked and loaded.
Dave Plenty – Drums
Driving the engine room with explosive energy and finesse, Dave channels the thunderous rhythms that powered legendary Woodstock performances.
Tim Wedde – Keys / Musical Director
A multi-talented keys player and the band’s Musical Director, Tim ties it all together with vintage organ swells, psychedelic textures, and pitch-perfect arrangements that transport audiences straight to 1969.
Following a string of sold-out shows across Sydney — including performances to over 6,000 fans at the Taronga Zoo Twilight Series — this unforgettable tribute will transport you back to the festival that became the soundtrack of a generation.
